It is important to invest in de-icer methods that are both efficient and easy on the pockets! Here are some tricks that can help you out this winter:
- Alcohol De-Icer Spray: Mix two-thirds of alcohol and one-third water and place into a spray bottle. Shake up the bottle, spray the solution on your windshield, to melt the ice."
- Salt De-Icer Solution: Mix in several spoons of either table salt or road salt in a container with water, until the mixture is saturated. Use it to melt ice in non-metal areas.
- Anti-Fog Solution: Mix 2 oz. of white vinegar with 1 qt. of hot water in a large bowl. Wipe the glass, mirror, car window or whatever surface you want to anti-fog with the vinegar solution. Leave it on wet and let it air-dry.
