Designing the Perfect Vessel Heating System
In order to recommend the ideal vessel heating system, we will need to know a few things about your vessel and environment as well as an engineering drawing.
What is the size of the vessel being heated?
For example, a vessel may have the dimensions of 20ft (6M) length and width. Some vessels like a hopper may have a throat. It is also useful to note what type of material the vessel is made out of (steel, plastic, etc) and if you plan on insulating it.
What is like outside the vessel?
Is the vessel located indoors or outdoors? If outdoors, is it windy or does it get wet frequently? How cold does it get on a really cold day? The conditions around the vessel affect the amount of heat needed.
What is inside of the vessel that needs heat?
Certain materials require certain temperatures to keep them flowing. Imagine the difference between keeping your water flowing and sticky wax or molasses.
