Tote Tank or Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) Heaters are used by chemical manufacturers, processors, and end users for storing materials. In some cases, they are used for dry materials to prevent exposure to moisture, but more often, they are used for bulk liquids to be processed. Tanks are great for storage in that they are designed to be easily stacked. For processes requiring large volumes of liquids, bulk containers decrease material movement when compared to 55-gallon drums. BriskHeat offers both general purpose and wet-area wrap-around full-coverage heaters designed to fit around totes measuring from 40 in x 40 in (1016 mm x 1016 mm) to 48 in x 48 in (1219 mm x 1219 mm).
General purpose heaters include two easy-to-use adjustable thermostats with a maximum temperature of 160°F (71°C) and a 6-foot (1.8 meter) power cord. These individually control top and bottom heating zones. They are constructed of durable silicone impregnated cloth with fiberglass insulation. When supplied without plugs, these heaters meet CE approval.
The wet-area heater is made with extra-durable water-resistant polyester cloth with foam insulation. A digital temperature controller with a maximum temperature of 140°F (60°C) means precise control to the single zone heating elements. It is ETL certified to USA UL standards and has an IP54 rating for use outdoors.
