BriskHeat's SLMCBL cut-to-length, mid-temperature self-regulating heating cable is an ideal solution for freeze protection and process maintenance up to 230°F (110°C). This self-regulating heat trace cable automatically adjusts its heat output based on surface and ambient temperatures. Choose between three outer-layer configurations to suit dry, wet, or harsh environments. No temperature controller is required for operation.
Note: Special consideration must be given to circuit breaker sizing due to high initial in-rush currents.
Jacket Configurations:
B: Tinned copper metal braid for dry environments
BP: Tinned copper metal braid with a thermoplastic elastomer overjacket for wet or mildly corrosive environments
BF: Tinned copper metal braid with a fluoropolymer overjacket for wet or harsh chemical environments
