ETI® Snow Switch® Model HSC-24 (25125)

The Snow Switch Model HSC-24 is a 24-volt, pavement-mounted snow and ice sensor designed to reliably detect surface conditions. By ensuring deicing heaters operate only when necessary, the HSC-24 effectively minimizes energy costs without sacrificing snow-melting performance.

This self-contained unit eliminates the need for an additional control panel, featuring an independent relay-contact output that integrates seamlessly with most electric and hydronic heater control systems. The sensor activates at pavement temperatures below 38°F (3.3°C) when moisture—including water, snow, sleet, or ice—is detected.

The required pavement sensor housing (23832) is sold separately.
