The Snow Switch® Model PD Pro is an automatic, pilot-duty control system designed for efficient snow and ice melting. Engineered for both commercial and residential use, this controller is ideal for managing heating systems for pavement, sidewalks, loading docks, roofs, and gutters.

The PD Pro interfaces with up to two Environmental Technology sensors (GIT–1 or SIT–6E, sold separately) to provide tailored site performance. By utilizing precise detection of moisture and temperature, the system ensures heaters activate only when necessary, significantly reducing energy consumption. It features both automatic and manual-override controls for maximum flexibility in varying weather conditions.
