The BriskHeat crankcase heater is an industrial-grade electric resistance heater designed to be strapped or clamped securely to the base of a compressor crankcase. It works continuously to keep the compressor oil temperature higher than the coldest part of the system, preventing refrigerant migration and condensation in the oil. These heaters are critical for compressors operating in ambient temperatures lower than the system's operating temperatures. Ideal for both residential and commercial HVAC/R applications, they can be easily retrofitted onto existing systems that lack internal heating elements.
