BriskHeat SpeedTrace Extreme heating cables are an ideal solution for easy-to-install pipe freeze protection and the safe thawing of metal and plastic pipe and valve assemblies. They may be used on metal and plastic water pipes, but not on flexible vinyl tubing (such as garden hoses). SpeedTrace Extreme heating cable self-regulates its temperature by automatically adjusting heat output based on surface and ambient temperatures; no temperature control is required.
