ETI® Snow Switch® Model LCD-8

The Snow Switch Model LCD–8 is a configurable aerial snow melting controller designed to make automatic snow melting a cost-effective solution for small-to-medium applications, specifically tailored for hydronic and building automation systems. It ensures heaters operate only when necessary—at temperatures below the user-defined set point (38°F/3.3°C default)—and utilizes an adjustable "hold-on" timer (3-hour default) to ensure surfaces are completely clear and dry after snow has stopped.

The LCD–8 features a rugged, patent-pending polycarbonate NEMA 3R enclosure designed to shed snow and prevent "iglooing" over the sensor. It offers flexible power options, with automatic voltage selection for 100VAC–240VAC or a dedicated 24VAC model for hydronic and building automation applications.
