The ETI Snow Owl is an automatic, 24V AC/DC aerial sensor designed to optimize energy usage in snow and ice melting applications. By ensuring heaters activate only when precipitation is present at temperatures below 38°F (3.3°C), the Snow Owl provides an efficient, low-impact solution for sidewalks, gutters, downspouts, doorways, and loading docks.
Engineered for simple integration, the Snow Owl features a 3-wire connection (2 for power, 1 for signal) and functions as a drop-in replacement for the ETI CIT-1 aerial sensor. It is constructed from durable, UV-resistant ASA plastic and is suitable for both standalone contactor control and building automation systems.
