A: No, the setpoints are designed to keep the blanket rated for hazardous area approvals. Any changes will void the approvals.
Q: How do I hold the heater in place until I can get the PSA cured?
A: We suggest using a high-heat adhesive tape to secure the heater to its vessel until the PSA has had time to properly cure. A good general guideline for curing is 200°F (93°C) for 20 minutes.
Q: Can I leave the tape on after the PSA is cured?
A: You may if it is rated for the temperatures you are wanting to achieve in your process.
