Low Temperature Self-Regulating Heating Cable (SLCBL)
BriskHeat's SLCBL is a cut-to-length, self-regulating heating cable that is an ideal solution for freeze protection and low-temperature process maintenance up to 150°F (65°C). Often referred to as self-regulating heat trace cable, it automatically adjusts its heat output based on surface and ambient temperatures.
Note: Special consideration must be given to the circuit breaker selection due to high initial in-rush currents.
Jacket Configurations:
B: Tinned copper metal braid for dry environments
BP: Tinned copper metal braid with a thermoplastic elastomer overjacket for wet or mildly corrosive environments
BF: Tinned copper metal braid with a fluoropolymer overjacket for wet or harsh chemical environments
