Utilizing an advanced self-regulating conductive polymer core, the cable dynamically adjusts its heat output at every point along its length based on localized surface and ambient temperatures. By delivering heat only when needed, SLHCBL prevents burnouts, maximizes energy efficiency, and operates reliably without requiring an external temperature controller in standard applications.
Note: Special consideration must be given to the circuit breaker selection due to high initial in-rush currents.
- High-Temperature Self-Regulation: Core material automatically increases or decreases power output in response to ambient temperature shifts, maintaining steady process maintenance up to 248°F (120°C) without risk of overheating, even when overlapped.
- Environment-Specific Outer Jackets: Choose between a tinned copper braid (B) for mechanical protection and grounding in ordinary applications, or an added fluoropolymer overjacket (BF) for maximum resistance against harsh chemical environments and strong acids.
