SDX Digital PID Temperature Controller Now with cULus and CE Approval
New Approvals for Affordable Compact Controller Make It Ideal for Lab and R&D Environments
COLUMBUS, Ohio, October 1, 2019 – Today, BriskHeat, a leading provider of flexible heating, insulating and temperature control solutions, announced that its new SDX Digital PID Temperature Controller now has cULus and CE approvals. UL approval has been granted for the United States and Canada.
Ideal in a broad cross-section of environments, the SDX Digital PID Temperature Controller is extremely accurate and shows both set-point and actual temperature, and its smaller size makes it easy to set-up and move to wherever it’s needed. Universal voltage from 100 – 240 VAC with a 15-amp relay adds to its versatility. Additionally, users can choose between Type-J or Type-K thermocouples or RTD temperature sensors.
“The new SDX Digital PID Temperature Controller was designed for those who need a high-quality, portable tabletop controller,” says Edye Buchanan, BriskHeat’s Product Manager for Controllers and Control Systems. “Adding third-party approvals like UL and CE to this controller completes that mission.”
The controller provides accurate PID control across a wide temperature range to regulate cloth and silicone heating blankets, tapes and cables, jackets and heating mantles. Applications include:
- Research and development
- Laboratory testing
- Food processing
- Emulsifying cosmetic components
- Industrial heating and drying
- Adhesive curing
- Gas handling
- Viscosity control
- Freeze protection
The new controller is for users in industries including laboratory, agriculture, petrochemical, general manufacturing, semiconductor, composite, chemical, food and beverage, and plastics.
